Vinous Neal Martin - 05 Jan 23
The 2021 Savigny-lès-Beaune Village, which like the Chorey sees no new oak this year, has a higher toned and more candied bouquet with raspberry confit and black cherries. The palate is nicely structured, lots of "stuffing" here, gently grip with admirable backbone on the lightly spiced finish. Give it a couple of years in barrel.
